Review of "Winston Churchill" by "John Perry"

If you judge a book by its cover, your instinctive reaction would be awe. Not because of the cover, but by the image of a towering personality, a pint-sized dynamite, who guided manhood through its most challenging times. It is none other than an enigma called Winston Churchill. The cover delivers all the promise it holds. The image of this great man with his intelligent eyes, twinkling with humor, hiding a steely resolve which overrode his physical shortcomings. As an Indian, I had my pre-judice about Winston Churchill because of his tirades about the Indians. But, a single pre-judice shouldn’t cloud the greatness of this individual. When I read the book, I realized that there is much more to this great person. We can always provision a small degree of errors for him, India being one. Otherwise, this book takes us through his life time and giving lucid elaborations and candid coverage.

This book is a must for anybody who wants to understand the enigma named Winston Churchill.
