For some it is the way of life... For some it is a curse!!!
In some cases it is like the smooth butt of a new-born while for the rest it is like an unshaven redneck's cheek!!!
Some have it naturally... Some have to work very hard for it... Some just don't get it!!!
If you think I am blabbering, you may be nearer to the point. The point is:
My wifey's results are out and as usual, in her normal way, she has scored high and leads the class. In my case, exams have just started and filling up just enough papers to pass the exams is an uphill task.
I was trying to analyse her scoring pattern and compare against mine to see if I could do something about it. Some amazing discoveries indeed.
- My total of "Internal + External" is always less than her "External" alone. What if you add the internal marks? Well, in the first case if she overtakes me, in the second just runs me over.
- I have to attend all classes to scrape through, but she manages to come out on top with the minimum attendance.
I keep needling her about not spending enough time on studying. Well, if she scores 85% with this effort, where would she end up without me or my dear kids bothering her. Scary, isn't it? If it is scary for you, think about me, sharing the same roof.
Anyway, I am one happy person that my better half is doing well in her studies. Now, this course is almost done, and one more to finish. I think she is set for her doctoral.
For me, it looks such an uphill task. The latest news is that I skipped an exam that I bunked last time. Reason... didn't prepare.
My doctoral dream is fading by the day... :(
